Question Answered

Can you confirm this is a Sony original, not a compatible? Asked by Oscar C. On Jul 17, 2017

Every lamp you purchase from is guaranteed to be an Original bulb manufactured by either PHILIPS, OSRAM, USHIO, and Phoenix. What you get from us if you order this lamp is the original Philips bulb in a MyProjectorLamps branded housing and box. We are also able to obtain a full Sony OEM lamp with original PHILIPS bulb, Sony housing, and Sony original packaging as well but its a special ordered product and not available on the site it will also be a higher priced lamp.

Question Answered

Is this an original Sony part Asked by Andrew C. On Aug 01, 2017

Hello, the projector lamps we offer are original bulbs in MyProjectorLamp branded housings. The projector lamp you are buying will always be a Philips, Osram or Ushio lamp, which are the exact same projector bulbs that Sony uses in its OEM offering. We can sell the original SONY branded part, but please call our sales team for a quote.

Question Answered

Is it advisable to puchace the lamp and module rather than just the lamp itself? Asked by Tony F. On Nov 24, 2018

We always recommend to purchase the lamp with module. It is the way the manufacturer of your projector intended the lamp to be changed and is the easiest way to replace the lamp. The lamp in module is a plug and play option, you remove the old lamp and slide the new one. There is no room for error. Installing the barelamp is best left for trained audio-visual professionals.

Question Answered

Do you guarantee that these replacement lamps lmp-h202 are the same lumens or brightness as an original Sony lamp? Asked by Robert L. On Mar 24, 2019

We guarantee that the replacement lamp for the LMP-H202 purchased from MyProjectorLamps will be the exact same lumens and brightness and lamp hours as the original SONY lamp. This is because the bulb is OEM, the exact same as the SONY bulb in your projector.

The projector I have is HW 45 Sony, and the bulb I think I need is LMP 210. I can't find an HW 45 in your list of models listed that said the HW 50 build and module looks identical with mine. Could you clarify please? Asked by Philip T. On Dec 29, 2020

Hi Philip. The HW45ES is not a compatible lamp with the HW50. The lamp that would better serve your needs is MPLL10413; there, you will find suitable projectors. Please contact our wonderful customer service team for further assistance.
